Justin Bieber Has His License Plate Stolen From His Fisker Karma

When you live in a high profile world like pop singer Justin Bieber everybody wants a piece of you – or your car!

Yesterday, Bieber was notified by his Calabasas property estate manager that the license plate from his new Fisker Karma was missing.

In the state of California it is illegal to drive without a rear license plate so the cops were called in to take a police report but we’re pretty sure the Bieb’s was able to find an alternative way to get to work.

Bieber’s Fisker has become somewhat notorious on California roads as this is the same car involved with his recent high speed paparazzi chase fiasco.

Bieber was clocked going close to 100 MPH on the 101 Freeway trying to elude the paparazzi before getting pulled over and having to deal with the cops.

Justin has also received two speeding tickets in his Fisker as well as multiple violations for window tinting – that to this day have not been corrected.

Slow down Justin… you’re only 18 and your fans would like to see you live a bit longer.

Don’t pull a James Dean on us.

For the record, it can take as little as 24 hours to get a replacement plate in California so we suspect that Bieber was already back on the road before this story was even posted!

Justin Bieber had another run in with cops on Friday (July 6th 2012) as he was caught speeding on the 101 Freeway in California.

Cops pulled Bieber over and gave him a speeding ticket for going 80 MPH – but there is more to this story… much more.

Bieber claims that he was being chased by a roving pack of paparazzi and he was only trying to “Out Run” them so they wouldn’t take his picture.

Okay, you’re driving a $150,000 chrome Fisker Karma with ultra-dark tint windows and you don’t want to draw attention to yourself? Every photog in L.A. knows that’s Bieber’s car.

Justin Bieber added to his automobile collection this week with the purchase of a $20,000 Smart Car.

Now, to be fair, Bieber already owns a Land Rover, Fisker Karma, Ferrari, and a Cadillac CTS-V with suicide doors that he has named the “Batmobile”

After Justin purchased the Eco-friendly Car, he painted it flat black and had the “Smart Car” brand tag changed to read “Swag Car”.

The base price for a Smart Car is around $11,000, and can jump with all the options like power windows and seats and other features to more than $20,000. They get 33mpg city and 40mph highway, which doesn’t seem very good for a car that small.

Bieber was spotted leaving a Ducati store in Beverly Hills where he jumped into his new ride and almost ran over a pedestrian in the process.

The Bieb’s new ride is so small that his body guards have to follow behind him in a separate car, we’re not sure yet if Selena AND Justin can fit in the tiny set of wheels at the same time.

I don’t know about you…. But this new toy kind of seems about the farthest thing from swag as you can get.

But then again, it was successful in gaining Bieber attention, and posts like this one on every tabloid blog in the world!

The World took pause yesterday as Justin Bieber celebrated his 18th birthday and ushered in a new World record for the number of social media message in a 24 hour period.

Bieber also spent the day with Ellen DeGeneres and received the coolest gift anybody could ever receive – a new car!

But not just any new car – Bieber scored a brand new totally hybrid electric and gas Fisker Karma $100,000 environmentally friendly car.

Justin’s gift was purchased by his manager Scooter Braun and his mentor and friend Usher Raymond.

Scooter told the audience,

"You work really, really hard. And I always yell at you, ‘Don't get anything flashy!’ We're not about that. Be humble, be humble. And I kind of broke my own rule. We wanted to make sure, since you love cars, that when you're on the road you are always looking environmentally friendly. And we decided to get you a car that would make you stand out. I think you know where I'm going, and you're kind of freaking out right now. That's a Fisker Karma."

With that, the curtain opened revealing a brand new 2012 Black Fisker Karma. Ellen tossed in a few extra gifts like a sun shield and Ellen bobble head for the dashboard.



The Fisker Karma is manufactured by Fisker Automotive and is a hybrid gas/electric car – meaning you can run on electricity or on regular gas.

It all starts with 959 lb/ft of torque, instantly available at 0 RPM.

In Sport Mode, the Karma's power management system utilizes a lithium-ion battery system along with a 2.0 liter 260 HP 4-cylinder direct injection motor to accelerate the Fisker Karma from 0-60 mph in 6.3 seconds with a top speed of 125 mph.

Not a bad gift for an eighteen year old.

Justin and Ellen celebrate JB's 18th birthday!

The entire World took pause today to absorb the reality that pop star Justin Bieber turned 18 years old today!

Bieber’s fans from around the globe turned to twitter and Facebook to try and set a world record worthy of the Guinness World Records book, and for his part Justin spent the day with his pal Ellen DeGeneres.

The videos below highlight Bieber’s visit with Ellen as she “Trucked in” one of his biggest fans, Bieber receiving his gift from his manager Scooter Braun, and visiting the riff-raff room.

The first video is Justin Visiting with Ellen and announcing his new single “Boyfriend” and talking about his charity work.



The next video shows Ellen putting a Bieber super fan on a truck and shipping her to the studio to meet Justin Bieber in person!



The big surprise for the day was Justin’s gift from manager Scooter Braun and Usher Raymond – a brand new Fisker Karma electric car! The Fisker is one of the most expensive and hard to get cars out there right now and Bieber got one!

And to round out the birthday surprises, Ellen had the Audience sing “Happy Birthday” to the Biebs before heading out to the Riff Raff room to visit with the overflow audience!





So there you have it -  the birthday celebration of the most famous 18-year-old on the planet.

Now we suspect Justin will spend a quiet evening with his girlfriend Selena Gomez and have a nice romantic dinner and…….. well…
