The stage collapsing at the Radiohead show at Downsview Park |
The band Radiohead had to cancel their concert for Saturday June 16th 2012 when the stage rig at the venue collapsed killing at least one person and injuring others.
Nobody in the band was injured and the stage collapsed before the show started.
The band was set to perform a concert at the Downsview Park in Toronto Canada tonight but the band took to twitter to inform their fans of the cancellation saying,
"Due to unforeseen circumstances tonight's show at Downsview Park tonight has been cancelled. Fans are advised not to make their way to the venue."
A message on the Downsview Park website simply read,
“Radiohead concert cancelled. There has been an incident, more details forthcoming.”
