Selena Gomez impressed comedian David Letterman last night during a conversation about Selena’s personal life involving pop singer Justin Bieber.
Selena was visiting the "Late Show with David Letterman" to promote her new movie “Spring Breakers” when the topic of conversation turned to her dating life and the fact that the last time Selena was on the Letterman show she was dating Justin Bieber.
Selena said she is single and very happy and Letterman told a story about making Justin Bieber cry to which Selena replied, “That makes two of us…”

Justin Bieber and David Letterman went head to head last night over the Bieb’s new “Believe” tattoo.
During the taped segment, Letterman asked Bieber about his new tattoo and started to criticize the singer for having so many.
At one point, Bieber called Letterman “Grandpa” and made a reference to the “Sixteenth Chapel” instead of the Sistine Chapel which is located at the Vatican in Rome.
Letterman made a snide comment about the Canadian educational system and you could see the tension starting to intensify.
Well, nobody ever said running for President was easy - just ask Rick Perry.
After Perry’s disastrous display at the last presidential debate where he FORGOT the third government agency he would close down, the late night comedy world took aim at him for a few laughs.
First, David Letterman did a hilarious Rick Perry Top Ten List of Excuses.
One of the funniest lines was “Hey, you try concentrating with Mit Romney staring at you… that’s one handsome dude.”
Now there are two words we thought we would never hear in the same sentence – Justin Bieber and Rick Perry!
But the laughs didn’t stop there.
Jimmy Fallon also took to the makeup chair for one of his best parodies to date to spoof Perry and the other candidates in a new series of GOP presidential campaign ads.
But Fallon didn’t stop with Rick Perry. He also went after Michele Bachmann, Mit Romney, and Herman Cain.
Leave it to Fallon and Letterman to lampoon these guys and to say what so many of us would like to say - but just don’t have 2 million people listening to us.
While Justin Bieber takes a little time off from his 150 show My World tour, the teen pop sensation stopped in New York to visit some friends.
Bieber was in town to promote his new women’s fragrance “Someday” and he stopped by Uncle Dave Letterman’s show to read the top ten list.
The topic was “Top Ten Little Known Facts About Justin Bieber.”
This is not the first time Bieber has done Dave's top ten list, but was probably the funniest.
Even InfoStar learned a thing or two about the singer.
After doing the Letterman show last night, Justin made an appearance on the NBC Today Show Thursday morning before visiting his gal pals over at the view.
After his New York public relations run for “Someday” the singer plans to spend his time between Atlanta and Los Angeles working on his third album.
Insiders say the new album will showcase a much more mature Bieber in both personality and musical style.
Any fan of the Colbert Report with Stephen Colbert knows he likes to try new things.
He has his own flavor of ice cream, he has carried the Olympic torch, he has run for President, he has his own Political Action Committee, and he has a NASA treadmill named after him on the International Space Station.
What has Stephen set his sights on now?
The comedian announced today at the New York Auto Show that he will once again be competing in the biennial 750 Mile Charleston Bermuda Race, this time with the newly formed Team Audi.
Colbert participated in the same race in 2005 and had some problems. He told Outside Magazine,
"I came in dead last last time; I finished four days behind the lead boat. We lost a sail; we didn't have any diesel power so we couldn't charge any of our batteries. Both of our toilets became nonfunctional. That was on day two."
After a brief, uncomfortable moment, Colbert admitted that he had pooped in the ocean. “I sh#t in the sea.”
This year, his boat will have a twelve man crew and a huge picture of Colbert on its sail. It takes off from Charleston Harbor May 21 and plans to arrive four days later in Bermuda.
When asked if he planned to win he said,
"Yes, we hope to do that. Win. I will get a cup and eternal glory. I will make everyone laugh, that's the way to keep from getting scared."
Happy sailing Captain.

Wow. If you missed the David Letterman show Wednesday night you missed a very uncomfortable visit by Joaquin Phoenix.
Maybe he was just having an off night or was under the influence of drugs, but it got weird to say the least.
He chewed gum non-stop and then stuck it under Letterman's desk, he answered questions with a simple "yes" or "no", and was less than helpful in his efforts to plug his new movie 'Two Lovers" with Gwyneth Paltrow.
Joaquin seemed to take offense when Dave asked him about his beard, and told the host he was not there to be made to feel weird about it. Ouch. When confused by the audience laughter, he asked the host, "What do you have them on? Nitrous?"
He stared blankly at the host when asked simple questions, and it was rare when you could understand his comments - when he talked at all. He did have one strange admission - he is working on his hip-hop music career. Really?
The interview ended with Dave saying, "Joaquin, I'm sorry you couldn't be here tonight", and apologizing to Farrah Faucet, his admitted worst guest ever - until last night.

Joaquin's new movie, "Two Lovers", is a Brooklyn-set romantic drama about a bachelor (Phoenix) torn between the family friend his parents want him to marry and his beautiful, but volatile, new neighbor. It opens February 13.
He was last seen in the 2007 thriller "Reservation Road" with Jennifer Connelly, Mark Ruffalo, Elle Fanning and Mira Sorvino, where a couple's son is killed at a gas station on Reservation Road, and it changes their life forever. _
Tina Fey tells David Letterman that this whole Sarah Palin thing "Is the strangest thing that ever happened to me".
Fey told Dave how the Palin impersonation came about and how she ended up on Saturday Night Live. "You drop the G's and use a lot of R's and add a little Reese Witherspoon. Fey says Palin got "Lost in the corn maze…" during the Katie Couric interview.
Fey does not believe that her skits are helping or hurting the election process, but that some people think it is a bit racist. Tina also shared with Letterman that it was Palin who contacted SNL in an attempt to book a guest appearance. That show is scheduled to air tonight.
Tina Falin, the new nickname given to Fey by friends, has also just started her new season on "30 Rock". She has announced an all-star group of friends and celebrities she has booked for the new season including Oprah and Steve Martin.
After canceling an earlier appearance, Senator John McCain finally visited the David Letterman show Thursday night.
At times it was uncomfortable.
David wondered if McCain cancelled because the host was not important enough and asked, "What Happened?" McCain replied, "I screwed up".
After a drilling on why McCain cancelled his last appearance, the two had a discussion about comments made on the campaign trail. The big topic was William Ayres and G. Gordon Liddy. It seems that McCain is pals with Gordon Liddy and has attended a fundraiser hosted by the Watergate felon, and Letterman drilled him about it.
Letterman did a great job of trying to ask McCain about accusations hurled at Barack Obama, but the presidential hopeful sidestepped most of the innuendo.
John McCain put David Letterman on the hot seat last night when he called the talk show host and cancelled his appearance at the last minute. Letterman was not happy, and had to find a last minute guest to fill his spot.
The problem? Letterman learned that McCain was only five blocks away at the time doing an interview with Katie Couric.
Letterman became especially upset when he caught the Republican presidential nominee in a live feed from New York being interviewed by his own network's Katie Couric. McCain had personally told Letterman he was canceling because he was headed back to the capital to handle the financial crisis.
Letterman told his audience that when things get tough, it is not the time to suspend a campaign, and that something didn't smell right. His comments also criticized Sarah Palin, McCain's old age, and the whole issue of the Financial Meltdown.
Letterman speculated that McCain did not cancel because of the financial crisis, but rather because of problems in his poll numbers.
At one point, Letterman interrupted his guest, Keith Olbermann, to show the audience the live feed of Couric's show and John McCain getting his makeup touched up. Letterman screamed at the camera, "John, do you need a ride to the airport?"
Barack Obama appeared on the David Letterman Show last night and the topic of Sarah Palin came up.
"Let me ask you a question here, have you ever actually put lipstick on pig?" Letterman asked Obama, a reference to a recent campaign controversy over Obama's use of the phrase.
Obama's comments where clever, and he didn't miss a beat and was obviously prepared for the question.
