|Justin Bieber in Miami court after being arrested for DUI|
After spending the night in jail Bieber appeared before a judge on Thursday morning to answer to the charges and then posted a bond of $2,500.
He will be required to return to court to answer to the charges at a later date.
Reports say Bieber told police he had beer, marijuana and prescription drugs in his system but was not charged with underage drinking at the time. Further charges may be added as the investigation proceeds.

He had his hands in his pockets the entire time and resisted arrest without violence after police discovered he was driving with a Georgia license that expired six months ago.
Police also say Bieber was cursing and was very confrontational during his arrest.
Reports say that Bieber had just left the “SET” Nightclub on Lincoln Road and was drag racing with his rap singer friend Khalil Amir Sharieff who was also charged with DUI and drag racing.

Bieber’s bail was set at $2,500 - $1,000 for resisting arrest, $1,000 k for the DUI, and $500 for driving on an expired license.
Bieber's legal problems are starting to mount and some insiders say they have been trying to get Justin to sell his Calabasas mansion and check into rehab to kick his drug habit but the singer has refused.
Shortly after Bieber's release from jail the Canadian radio station HOT 89.9 broadcast that they would no longer play any of Bieber's music until he went to rehab to address his drug problems.
