The Tupac hologram was introduced during a set by Dr. Dre and Snoop Dogg and was the brain child of audio visual company AV Concepts.
AV Concepts president Nick Smith told reporters that his company worked for months on every aspect of Tupac’s look, form, and style and says Dr. Dre and Snoop Dogg were key players in the project.

The technology used for this presentation is described as "Uncompressed high-definition video that can be projected as holograms or 3D imagery on building exteriors, interior walls, stage sets and other structures."
While Smith would not divulge to price tag of the hologram, most experts in the field say the high definition project would probably have cost between $100,000 and $500,000 to create and produce.
Amazing. And I’m sitting here addicted to Angry Birds and this kind of stuff is going on. I got to get out more.
Tupac died on September 13, 1996 after being shot in Las Vegas after attending a Mike Tyson fight. To date the rapper has sold over 75 million albums.
Shakur started his career as a band roadie and dancer but was also involved in movies like Bullet, Criminal Intent, Above the Rim, and Poetic Justice.
