Clay Aiken is a recent new father in a weird way, and now Ricky Martin has announced through his publicist that he is the father of two new twin baby boys!The Latin singing sensation and ex-Menudo child star had the children by a surrogate mother, and the twins were born about three weeks ago.
"The children, delivered via gestational surrogacy, are healthy and already under Ricky's full-time care," said the statement. "Ricky is elated to begin this new chapter in his life as a parent and will be spending the remainder of the year out of the public spotlight in order to spend time with his children."
This may put a halt to the rumors that Ricky Martin is gay, but then again, it may just fuel the fire of Hollywood speculation and innuendo.
Martin, 36, is best known for his smash music hits like "She Bangs!" and "Livin' la Vida Loca."
Ricky Martin was last seen in television on the series "Barefoot In Paradise" back in 1996, and got his start as a child actor on the daytime soap opera "General Hospital"
